Tomb-Sweeping Day 清明 - 扫墓

Today is Tomb-Sweeping Day. It was a really the most well, I don,t-know-what-to-do day in my life! On Tomb-Sweeping Day, you have to visit some cemeteries. All the cemeteries I visited were muddy and dirty, I think (only the first one is the nicest, followed by the second one, well, ok. And the third one, I-don't know). And at the third cemetery, I fell down on a muddy patch (there were so many muddy patches that I didn't know which patch I fell into).
Every ancestor we visited had a "great" name, example like: great-great grandmother; great-great grandfather; great-uncle; etc. Only my father's father hadn't had a "GREAT" name and so to my uncle Michael (my mother side). That's all!
Did you know how my father 'scare' me to come to the tomb? While I was happily sleeping, my father woke me up in the middle of the night. He said, " If you don't come, our ancesters will come after you." What a big, fat lie! Lier, lier, pants on fire! He won't be seeing me visitng the tomb next year, kekekekek....hehehehehe!

My Hobby 我的爱好!

My hobby is drawing, playing crossword puzzles and reading. I prefer crossword puzzles than drawing and reading than crossword puzzles. Did you see the Eight Immotals drawing? You might think an adult drew that. Actually, it was me who drew it. My favourite hobby is reading. My mother says I'm a very fast reader because one time, Mummy went to Lot 1 Popular to buy some activity books. While she was choosing some books, I was staring and reading a Enid Blyton book at the same time. Mummy saw me doing this and she went to me. She asked me if I wanted some Enid Blyton books. I nodded my head "Yes". She asked me to choose three Enid Blyton books. I chose 'The Little Old Toymaker; The Flopperty Bird and The Tale of Bushy the Fox. And you know what? I finished ALL the Enid Blyton books in two days! Enid Blyton and Geronimo Stilton are my favourite authors.

My Favourite Books 我最爱的故事书-八仙过海!

The Eight Immortals's collection are my favourite books! They are called ' The Eight Immortals'. They are all about the legends of the eight immortals ( I love legends! )! In one collection, there are four books. The titles are: The Eight Immortals Cross the Sea; Uproar in the Celestial Palace; Rewarding the Honest and Miracle Workers. The eight characters are:Tieguai Li; Zhongli Quan; Zhang Guolao; Lu Dongbin; Cao Guojiu; Han Xiangzi; Lan Caihe and He Xiangu. He Xiangu is the ONLY female in the group. Lan Caihe is the strangest of the eight, being at times male and at times female. Most people see the Eight Immortals simply as the subject of charming stories, though they actually play a more significant role. This is in relationship with the Bagua, or Eight Trigrams, of the Yijing (also known as the I Ching in English), the most popular classic of tranditional China. The Eight Trigrams are a series of three lines, which combine all possible variations of either a broken line or a full line. They form one of the most important sets of symbols in Chinese divination. Each eight immortal is associated with a certain direction of the Eight Trigrams. In certain cases, this is based upon their nature.
He Xiangu, a woman, represents yin, the female principle. She is associated with the south-west and the three broken lines of the trigram which represents yin, is placed there. Because of his hot temper, Tieguai Li is situated in the south, while the calmer and the eldest of the Eight, Zhang Guolao,is in the north. Zhongli Quan, whose fan which stirs the sea, is in the east where the sea meets China. Lu Dongbin, the subjugator of the forces of evil and the unknown, is on the west, tranditionally the dwelling place of the mysterious and magical due to the vastness of the deserts and mountain ranges which lie in that direction. Han Xangzi defends the south-east while the last two, Lan Caihe and Cao Guojiu, guard the north-west and north-east respectively.

Sentosa Bear !!!! 圣陶沙小熊

This is my my Sentosa Bear! I named him Kiki ( I don't know why )! Isn't he adorable? We almost go to Sentosa every week! I'll tell you how he came about........if you listen! Here's how it goes: One day, we were having lunch at the Kofu Foodcourt at Sentosa. After we finished eating,we decided to explore our surroundings. We caght sight of a store nearby. We decided to check it out. While we were exploring, I saw this cute little bear. I'll pulled my mother's hand and beckon my mother to see it. My mother couldn't resist buying this toy bear. It had soft tufts of fur on its body and tiny, shining little button eyes. Finally my mother said, ''Alright, let's buy it.'' And we lived happily ever after!!

Little Brown Bear - My Old Toy! 我最爱的小熊!

This is Little Brown Bear, my old toy. Now he has disappeared. You know why? I’ll tell you from the beginning. Here’s the story: Three years ago, when my big brother Andrew, went to Shanghai, in China, he was already sixteen years old. When he came back from Shanghai, he had brought back two presents. It was two bears! One bear was entirely covered with brown fur, and it had little pink bow tied around its neck. The other bear was a bit more fanciful than the first bear. It foot pads were had silver and blue stripes, and it was holding a heart shape that read ‘I Love You’. When my sister and I saw this brown bear, we rushed at it at once and started fighting over it. My big brother said I could keep the brown bear and my little sister had the other bear. My sister started to cry because nobody likes the white bear.

A BIG disaster occurred just recently, my big brother (the one who came back from Shanghai) snatched away the bear and stole into his room with Little Brown Bear. At night, I could not sleep without Little Brown Bear. The next day, Koko returned back the bear because my sister coughs badly.

But ANOTHER BIG disaster occurred again! One morning (it was a weekend morning); I had to wake up early because I had a tuition. My maid, Helen tried to wake me up. I still did not wake up. Then she tried to pretend to beat me (I was on a double-decker bed) but I was too far up for her. So instead she beat off the poor bear’s nose! That was how he lost his nose.
There was always a BIG DISASTER because of Little Brown Bear. And it was always about the first DISASTER. Lastly, when Little Brown Bear disappeared, it was a mystery. I'll tell you. Perhaps YOU could help me solve it! When Koko wasn't here, Little Brown Bear disappeared. When I woke up, he was there. When I went to school, he was there. When I came back, he WASN'T there! I was so upset! "That's the end of Little Brown Bear." I thought. THE END
